On the back of Shashank’s sensational seven-wicket haul and Aadyanth’s remarkable hundred, the Cricket Foundation registered a stupendous 227-run win over the Delhi Cricket Club in the ongoing Cricplex Kalinga Cup. While batting first, Cricket Foundation Hyderabad posted a massive 324/7. Delhi Cricket Club got bowled out for just 97 runs.

After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, the Cricket Foundation Hyderabad lost the wickets of Shubham and Prajwal quite early. The duo comprising of Shahnawaz and Aadyanth then joined hands to resurrect the innings and take their team forward in this game. Shahnawaz played an excellent knock of 52 runs off 93 balls that included six boundaries and also added a crucial partnership along with Aadyanth.

However, it was Aadyanth who compiled an exceptional innings of 108 runs off 101 balls that consisted of 13 fours and 2 sixes. In the middle-overs, Aryan too batted amazingly well smashing a quick-fire knock of 64 runs off only 46 balls that included 10 boundaries. Towards the end, Ashrith scored 26 runs off 21 balls while Dharjeet was 21 not out off 16 balls as the Cricket Foundation Hyderabad finished with a mammoth total of 324 for 7 in 50 overs. For the Delhi Cricket Club, Manish and Nikhil picked two wickets each.

In the second innings, the Delhi Cricket Club got off to a decent start with the two openers, Abhishek and Sanju commencing the innings in a fine manner. However, both the batters failed to convert their starts into bigger scores and got out one after the other. After the top-order collapse, the Delhi Cricket Club continued to lose wickets on regular basis and thus, their innings didn’t pick up the momentum in the monumental run-chase.

Barring three players, the rest of the team failed to even cross the single-digit mark and the Delhi Cricket Club folded for a paltry total of 97 runs in 22.5 overs. For the Cricket Foundation Hyderabad, Shashank bowled sensationally well picking up a total of seven wickets and gave just 25 runs in 8.5 overs.
