In the ongoing exciting Cricplex Kalinga Cup, the Delhi Riders registered an impressive 9-wicket win over the Inspirations Cricket Academy at the Cricplex Cricket Academy ground in Noida. Prabal scored 72 runs and Rishabh composed a remarkable century to help Delhi Riders complete the chase in a canter.
The Inspirations Cricket Academy team won the toss and opted to bat first at the Cricplex Cricket Academy ground in Noida. The two openers, Aryan Bansal and Ekansh Vaish started things off in a decent manner as they provided their team with a strong foundation at the top. However, both the opening batters failed to convert their respective starts into big knocks. Aryan scored a run-a-ball 31 and Ekansh got out after scoring 39 runs off 75 balls.
In the middle-order, the trio of Sidhant Rana, Vinayak Khandelwal and Astitva Mishra failed to contribute much with the bat. Towards the end, Tushar Negi and Apoorv Srivastav contributed with vital cameos and Ujjwal Sharma remained unbeaten at 55 off 73 balls that helped the Inspirations Cricket Academy finish with 204 for 9 in 40 overs. For the Delhi Riders, Rishabh Nain and Pratham Rastogi picked two wickets each.
While chasing a target of 205 runs in 40 overs, the Delhi Riders got off to a great start as both their opening batsmen, Prabal Pratab Singh and Rishabh Nain came out with a clear and positive mindset. The opening duo stitched a brilliant partnership for the first wicket and provided their team with a solid opening foundation.
Prabal played an excellent innings of 72 runs off just 45 balls that included 7 fours and 5 sixes. Rishabh Nain remained unbeaten till the end after playing a sensational knock of 110 runs off only 61 balls that consisted of 14 fours and 5 sixes and finished the game for the Delhi Riders in just 17.4 overs.
